Wound Care

To care for a wound, first wash your hands and stop any bleeding. Then, gently clean the wound with water or a saline solution, but avoid harsh chemicals like alcohol or peroxide. Apply an antibiotic ointment if desired, cover the wound with a sterile bandage, and change the dressing daily or as needed
